Artist Statement 

When creating my artwork I’m influenced by TV and film, nature and travel experiences. I've traveled to major cities in the US and countries in Europe and Latin America, which is where I get my inspiration to create scenic images such as mountains, beaches and cityscapes. I strongly connect with film and TV and work with classic movies, horror/psychological thrillers, action, adventure, and superhero fiction. When creating my art I typically work with digital art programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, but also explore traditional mediums as well like using pencil, paint, charcoal, glass, clay and other materials. I would very much like to pursue a career that incorporates both media design and film since there are many aspects of media design that relate to the film industry, such as creation of movie posters, promotional materials for advertising, graphics for animation, film writing, directing and producing, special effects and set design.
